We have a shared meal and celebration four times a year for the summer & winter solstices and the vernal & autumnal equinoxes. We learn about historical and cultural celebrations at these sessions.
We visited with The Traveling Barnyard in April 2024. Ms. Carman led a sing-along and taught us about animal care.
Every April we have a Let’s Clean Up the Earth Day special session. We learn about recycling and conservation, and pick up trash at our local parks and schools.
Forest Friends Tea Party is an annual early summer celebration where we dress up and use our best manners to enjoy delicious treats in a beautiful outdoor setting. It is always so fun to see our members dressed in their finest forest friends costumes!
Lake Days are some of our favorite special sessions. We enjoy meeting at our local lake beaches every summer for some much-needed relaxation.
In July 2024 we had a fishing lesson with Mr. Jon!
We have two yearly camping trips- one in the spring and one in the fall. Our members have a wonderful time unplugging from fast-paced life and spending time together.
